COMMUNICATION

WHICH ONES ARE THE MAIN CULTURAL DIFFERENCES IN NON-VERBAL COMMUNICATION?

There are many culture variations that can affect the way people communicate non-verbally, this is an important factor to take into account because there are some actions that cannot be seen as offensive in your home country but they may be deemed so in foreign cultures and business ventures.

This is why there are some factors that are easy to identify and that can be very helpful for all of us, in order to behave in an appropriate way to maintain good relations at the time of doing business, entering in a new market or only establishing relationships with foreigners.

Here we have some interesting videos that are very related to the topic. I hope you like them all !!!

  1. I find it curious as two nearby countries have many differences in the gestures and their meanings. In this sense, it is absolutely true that we must be careful when we interact with people from very different countries because in some cases we could unintentionally and with no idea insult them, their life and families. you did an interesting selection of videos, although they were so different I liked the three of them, it appropriately illustrate the magnitude of the differences in nonverbal communication.

  2. I like the videos you show about different gestures according to cultures, countries or backgrounds. It is very important to be aware of the difference existing among people, which at the end leads to the diversity richness in societies.
